The Paris Agreement requires zero emission zones in city centres in the Netherlands starting in 2025. In these zones only fully electric delivery vehicles and busses will be allowed. BK Pharma Logistics has taken note and purchased a Volkswagen ID. Buzz. By deploying this electric vehicle BK Pharma Logistics is taking a first step to further reduce CO2 emissions.
Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo
The Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo is fully electric, with a WLTP range of approximately 424 kilometres and a battery kit of 77kWh. Additionally, the ID. Buzz Cargo stands above the rest with a rapid charger of 170 kWh which can charge the battery kit from 5% to 80% within 30 minutes.
The ID. Buzz Cargo will allow BK Pharma Logistics to deliver temperature-controlled goods in the city centre by electric vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with a fully electric cooling system featuring a special 24-volt system, electric air curtain which prevents large temperature differences, a heating option for use in guarding critical temperatures for medical transport and continued cooling option while the vehicle itself is stationary.
