Geopost today announces the completion of the previously announced sale of SRT Group to Mutares SE & Co. KGaA. Also known as Stuart, SRT Group is a European leader in urban on-demand delivery, especially in the food and groceries segments, which operates in more than 100 major European cities, generating over EUR 400 million in revenues in 2022.
Under the terms of the agreement, which was approved by the Board of directors of La Poste Groupe and by the Employee representative groups within Geopost SA, this transaction concludes the purchasing of SRT group by Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, a listed private equity holding company with offices in Munich (HQ), Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Shanghai, Stockholm, Vienna and Warsaw. Mutares is specialised in acquiring medium-sized companies in special situations, based in Europe, which show significant operational improvement potential.
This sale marks a new stage in the history of SRT Group after a collaboration of almost a decade with Geopost, present from the beginning of the adventure as an investor. During this period, the SRT Group teams have accomplished significant work to create the conditions for growth, with a sustained pace particularly during the Covid period.
