  • The service is available in more than ten Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Malaga and Seville, among others, with plans to expand in the near future.
  • In 2021, SEUR Now delivered more than one million parcels 99 % effective and in 2022 it reached that figure in October.
  • SEUR Now already has almost 100% of its fleet zero or low-emission and it aims to reach a 50 % electric fleet by 2024, in accordance with SEUR’s sustainability strategy.

As a leader in express delivery in Spain, SEUR launched its local courier division 25 years ago. Today it is known as SEUR Now. This new solution was created to guarantee customers that their orders would be delivered directly after collection. After a fifteen-year evolution, today SEUR Now is a last-mile service with a flexible platform for super-urgent deliveries, carried out in two-hour time slots every day of the week. SEUR Now stands for efficiency, speed of response and reliability to meet customer needs in last mile delivery. This service embodies the company's "customer centric" philosophy. This is why major customers and corporations have relied on SEUR Now over the years.

In this regard, SEUR Now's super-urgent deliveries have played a key role in managing the ecommerce boom during the pandemic. This increase in demand has kept ratios above this year's forecasts. In 2021, more than one million 99 % effective deliveries were made with SEUR Now, within the determined time slot.

In the words of Marc Bayo, Director of SEUR Now,

"We are very proud that this 25th anniversary is being celebrated with such high efficiency figures. This solution represents very well the company spirit: speed, reliability and sustainability". Bayo also points out that "we have made a big commitment to this segment of super-urgent deliveries in specific time slots. This is in response to the needs of our customers and the fact that e-commerce represents a large part of our workload. In the end, we aim to remain the benchmark for our customers for the next 25 years”.

The service is available in more than ten Spanish cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Malaga and Seville, among others, with plans to expand in the near future.

An efficient and sustainable solution

SEUR aims to be a leader in sustainability and it shares this commitment with DPDgroup. SEUR Now plays a leading role in this respect. The solution has almost 100% of its fleet zero or low-emission and it aims to reach a 50 % electric fleet by 2024.

SEUR Now fleet’s electrification is in line with other company measures in this area, such as carrying out deliveries in 64 Spanish cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants with low-emission vehicles by 2025. To this end, SEUR will incorporate 1,500 low-emission vehicles by 2025. Its implementation means a reduction of around 85% in CO2 emissions in these cities, with a direct impact on 17 million inhabitants throughout Spain.

Furthermore, SEUR has already deployed its transition to an environmentally friendly fleet, which today accounts for 12% of the total. In figures, these vehicles covered some 15.5 million kilometers over 2021. This offsets 0.64 kg of CO2 for each of the 9 million parcels delivered with this type of vehicle, i.e. more than 95 tonnes of CO2 savings in the last year.
