TIPSA will help to make people with disabilities visible with one million solidarity envelopes

TIPSA has launched the seventh edition of its Christmas solidarity campaign. Under the slogan 'Capaces de todo' (Capable of anything), TIPSA aims to raise awareness of physical and intellectual disabilities by distributing more than one million envelopes.

 

The presentation of the campaign took place at the headquarters of the Prodis Foundation. It was attended by its president, Soledad Herreros de Tejada, and the Consejera Delegada of TIPSA, Marisa Camacho, who highlighted "the solidarity and dedication of TIPSA's employees".

"With this campaign we turn our envelopes into a solidarity tool that will help thousands of families",

remarked the Marisa Camacho.

Soledad Herreros de Tejada thanked the solidarity initiative.

"The Prodis Foundation can continue with its mission of social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. It is the small gestures that allow us to do great things".

To illustrate its envelopes, TIPSA organized a children's drawing contest in which the children, nephews, nieces and grandchildren up to twelve years of age of the professionals linked to the transport network participated. The contest asked to draw about the ability to overcome and enthusiasm of people with disabilities.

The campaign of solidarity envelopes will be developed during the months of November, December and January, and will not involve any extra cost for the company's customers, being TIPSA and its network of agencies which, for each solidarity envelope that is delivered, will allocate four cents to the projects of NGOs.

TIPSA will donate more than €40,000 to Fundación Mensajeros de la Paz, Fundación Prodis, Confianza Solidaria Madrid, Fundación DiabetesCERO, Fundación Menudos Corazones, Fundación Madrid contra la Esclerosis Múltiple (FEMM) and SILO.
