The upcoming inauguration of the Zaragoza platform, located in the Zaragoza Transport City, starts its activity the first week of October. This investment in infrastructure is part of the growth plan of the TIPSA Network, which has more than 330 agencies throughout Spain.
In order to meet the evolution of TIPSA's business, it is necessary to significantly expand the capacity of the activity with new infrastructure projects in strategic points of Spain.
The facilities are equipped with the Breeam System, which certifies them as sustainable construction and energy efficient. Built on a 14,000 m2 plot, the facilities of the new Zaragoza HUB have a surface area of 5,000 m2 with 11 loading docks for trailers, one of them exclusively for logistics, and 15 docks for vans, 14 of them triple, so they have capacity for 44 vans at the same time. They also have 4 simultaneous telescopic unloading lines and 3 segmented sorting processes (parcels, envelopes and irregular).
Located in the Ciudad del Transporte, it is in a strategic location 6 kilometers from Zaragoza and between the Mudéjar Highway (A-23) and the Northeast Highway A-2, connected to the main communication routes of the northeast of the Peninsula, the rest of the industrial areas of Zaragoza and the Autonomous Communities of Cantabria, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid.
This new addition to the TIPSA Network streamlines and boosts logistics activity in northeastern Spain, adding a new platform to the other 13 national ones, all of them with the most advanced sorting and parcel management technology. In this way, TIPSA consolidates its position as a reference in the Spanish and international logistics sector thanks to the quality and technological vanguard that characterizes its entire NETWORK.
