RESTRICTED AREAS

Between July and September 2024, prefectures will establish traffic restriction zones marked in blue, red and grey in ten urban areas, with Paris and its surrounding region being the primary hosts for the Olympic & Paralympics competitions. There will be three different areas , blue, red and grey.

The blue zones

Access for motor vehicles is regulated and subject to restrictions. Our drivers will be equipped with access permits to facilitate parcel collections and deliveries.

The red zones

Situated in central Paris, these zones will remain restricted throughout the duration of the games. Unless specific exemptions are granted, motor vehicles will not be permitted. Consequently, our subsidiaries Chronopost and DPD France will utilise cargo bikes or pedestrian route for parcel delivery.

The grey zones

Only individuals possessing a ticket and vehicles accredited by Paris 2024, and subject to verification of credentials, will be granted access to these perimeters.
