DPD SLOVAKIA'S HISTORY

Founded in 2002, DPD SK was born from a vision of a small group of enthusiasts to provide innovative and reliable courier delivery solutions. From the outset, we focused on building strong partnerships with businesses, offering efficient and flexible solutions for B2B deliveries. As the first company in Slovakia to introduce cash-on-delivery services, we significantly streamlined business transactions.

From 2008 onwards, the company’s parcel portfolio began to evolve by gradual incorporation of B2C shipments. Significantly fueled by the COVID-19 pandemic, this transformation culminated in 2020-2021 when B2C parcels surpassed B2B shipments. Adapting to evolving market needs, we have expanded our services and opened new opportunities for our partners by establishing presence in the out-of-home (OOH) delivery.

Today, our extensive network of over 1 800 pickup points enables us to provide flexible and convenient delivery options for our customers. With more than 20 years of experience, DPD SK belongs among the leading players in the courier delivery of parcels up to 31.5 kg in Slovakia, and across Europe.
